Pricing
Work that has the same shape for every client has a price on this page and can be paid for by card. Work whose size depends on your systems is estimated in writing first. Both routes are below, so you can tell which one applies before contacting us.
HKD and USD are separate list prices rather than a daily conversion. Hong Kong does not levy VAT or GST, so the figure shown is the amount charged.
Fixed price
The scope of each package is identical for every client, which is what makes a published price honest. Payment is by card, and work begins once a start date is agreed.
One-off

A review of one process or system that ends in a document you can act on — including, when it is the right answer, the recommendation to build nothing.

One documented workflow between two systems, built for production rather than as a demonstration: validated inputs, handled failures and a way to see it running.

Monthly
HK$15,000 US$1,950 per month
A predictable amount of engineering capacity each month, for a system that keeps changing after launch and does not need a new project every time.
Note: Cancel with 30 days’ notice. Unused capacity does not carry over.
Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout page. They never pass through this website, and we never see or store them.
Smaller commitments
For a single question that does not need a project, or to reserve delivery capacity while a larger scope is being agreed.
Per hour

A scheduled call for one specific question: a review of an approach, a second opinion, or a decision you want tested before committing budget to it.
Note: Book up to ten hours at a time. Hours do not expire.
Credited to your first invoice

Reserves delivery capacity for an integration project once the written scope is agreed, so the start date is held while the paperwork is finished.
Note: Refundable in full until the scope is signed off and the schedule is booked.
Quoted work
Anything that depends on your systems, your data or a compliance requirement is estimated in writing before it starts. Nothing is charged until you accept the estimate.

Connecting systems, moving data between them, or automating a workflow that spans more than two systems. Estimated against a written scope, with the out-of-scope items listed as clearly as the included ones.

An application or internal tool built around how your operation actually works, including the unglamorous parts: access control, audit trails, error handling and a documented way to recover.
How quoting works
Estimates are written against a scope document. If the scope changes, the estimate is revised before the work continues.
Every quote is based on a defined scope. If the scope is unclear, the first step is usually a short assessment rather than a large estimate.
Third-party costs — cloud hosting, AI API usage, SaaS subscriptions — are identified separately and billed to you at cost by the provider.
Work is quoted in writing before it starts, including what is out of scope.
Payment terms
Fixed-price packages are paid in full before work starts. The scope is what is listed above; anything beyond it is quoted separately rather than absorbed silently.
A project deposit is credited in full against your first project invoice, and is refundable until the scope is signed off and a start date is booked.
Monthly development is billed on the same date each month and can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. Unused capacity does not carry over.
Consultation hours are scheduled after payment and can be moved once with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Third-party costs — cloud hosting, AI API usage, SaaS subscriptions — are billed to you by those providers and are not included in any figure on this page.
If we cannot deliver what you paid for, the payment is refunded to the original card through Stripe.
